Since joining Sharrock Pitman Legal, Jing Yuan has built a busy advisory practice assisting investors, landlords and tenants with transactions and lease arrangements for commercial and retail properties such as factories, shopping centre tenancies and retail strips. He also provides advice to both landlords and tenants in relation to lease disputes such as involving defaults, renewals, transfer of lease and establishment of lease.
Jing Yuan has a particular interest in lifestyle villages and retirement villages. Contracts for these properties are often financially onerous, and legally complex with terms and conditions that are likely to puzzle. His solid grasp of the detailed elements included in purchase and sale contracts enables Jing Yuan to provide his customers with advice that is easy-to-understand, providing surety to those considering a transition to community living.
