Instructions for your will

A Will comes into effect upon your death. It helps to ensure your Estate passes to the people or organisations that you want, in the manner that will be most beneficial to them.

You can provide us with all the details we need to complete your Will from the comfort of your own lounge room with our fast and straightforward online process. Once you have provided the details to us, a lawyer will draft your Will within 72 hours ready for your input and approval.

BENEFICIARIES

These are the people who are to receive a benefit under your Will. If you have a spouse or domestic partner, it is usual to leave most (if not all) property to that person. However, this is not essential and you may want to make some specific gifts. You also need to make provision for replacement beneficiaries (i.e. perhaps your children) if the first beneficiary dies before you. You should also name a third lot of beneficiaries (i.e.perhaps your (future) grandchildren) if any one or more of the second lot of beneficiaries dies before you.

CHILDREN

If you have children or grandchildren under the age of eighteen (18) years, then their share in your estate will need to be held in trust (although money will be released from their trust account for their personal needs, education, clothing, sports activities and the like).
