Civil jurisdiction (Hong Kong)
- Achieved a landmark success for the Plaintiff in a hard-fought $400m probate battle involving challenges to a will based on due execution, testamentary capacity and knowledge & approval grounds. Having lost at first instance, the Plaintiff succeeded on appeal to the Court of Appeal whose judgment is of considerable importance to probate practitioners. The Defendant subsequently applied for leave to appeal to the Court of Final Appeal but without success (See: Choy Po Chun & Anor v Au Wing Lun CACV 177/2017)
